My story
I'm an avid outdoor photographer. I"m currently located in Maryland so a lot of my photography is from the Mid-Atlantic area.
But since I take a camera with me wherever I travel so I have select works from other locations around the United States, and of course New Zealand.
This has been a passion of mine since I was young and my mom gave me my first instamatic camera.
Since then I've always been taking picture, but I didn't get serious about it until I was older and my daughter started playing softball. I got really good at taking action shots at all the travel softball events, but alias, that came to an end when my daughter graduated High School .
So that brought me back to my previous passion of Landscape and Outdoor photography and have been working on improving my skills in that area and exploring new subject material.

So, how did I come about with the name American Kiwi Photo and my company logo.
I'm originally from New Zealand and New Zealander's call themselves Kiwi's after the National Bird
Hence the kiwi part of the name.
I moved to the United States with my family at a young age and have been living in the United States since.
Thus the American part of the name.
So I'm an American Kiwi and American Kiwi Photo was born.
